ashanti’s good good video comes to mind, which came out in like 2008
artists aren’t original these days *sigh* the whole reference to the 40’s and 50’s has been used soo many times e.g. christina aguilera, gwen stefani, ashanti, lady gaga and now beyonce! its a shame really

its ssoo annoying how everybody always gotta say one artist is copying another. because really, hasnt it all been done before? theres only so many really different videos you u can make !

Ok,i understand where people get the copying idea from. There are similarities in the film style and fonts in the video, in how paparazzi gave off this classy 1950’s video. The blue phone i reminiscant of telephone (just a coincidence), runny make up like paparazzi (purple teardrops). The 50’s vibe also came off from the telephone video, soo I do understand SIMILARITIES, so i get where that comes from. BUT THIS IS NOT A COPY AND A GOOD SONG/VIDEO!

Just because they collaborated together, it doesn’t mean that they are going to start copying each other. If anything, Beyonce was inspired 50s women like Lucille Ball for this video, not Gaga.

How is she copying Gaga? I am a Gaga expert and I don’t see any similarities. She is acting like an old fashion wife (like Lucille Ball). I love this music video and i’m surprised it doesn’t have way more views on Vevo. and how is everyone posting this music video, I thought Youtube blocks them? lol

Bey isn’t trying to be like GaGa, i was saying that GaGa is NOT like her if you read my comment properly, “she’s getting a bit like her, not exactly copying her,” By that i mean, she’s branching out on her ideas, becoming less afraid of what people think.
