“Factory takes his hearing…” My grandfather suffered with ‘industrial deafness’ caused by years of working in the shipyards on the Tyne. People can criticise Bruce all they like but 99.9% of other songwriters wouldn’t be able to put such things into a song and mean it/understand it

I’ve never seen Bruce Springsteen in concert. I’ve always wanted to, but his tickets sell out so quickly. People who have seen him perform tell me he gives his all and you definitely get your moneys worth, especially in the 70’s and 80’s when he would perform 3 to 4 hours sometimes. Looking at this video you can see the sweat dripping off his hand that’s holding the guitar. In the other clips I ‘ve seen on Yotube he’s usually drenched in sweat. And he’s going to be 60 years old soon, isn’t he?
