(cont.) sometimes the connection between Brooce & the Band & the audience could achieve this same level after they’d been playing for hours, especially by the encore.
But the incredible level of intensity & intimacy was there on the River tour from the beginning of the show(at least at MSG). It was amazing. Back then the audience was almost exclusively major major fans & the soon-to-be-converts that they brought w/them. It felt like everyone there was your best friend having the best time.

1st concert i ever saw was Bruce In Madison Square Garden during the River tour.
I’ve seen him at least 25 times w/the Band & the Human Touch/Lucky Town tour since then. Plus a bunch of times in small venues when he’d jump on stage during someone else’s show. I’ve seen 100s of other concerts by a variety of performers since then also. There ain’t nuthin’ like Brooce & Band live ! That show during the River tour had something going on with the band & audience that I’ve never seen again

As a young kid, I made one big mistake. The first concert I’ve ever been to, was Bruce. And since then, nothing can compare that concert (except his three other concerts I’ve been to). So all the bands I’m going to see, cannot be as good as Bruce..

It is against all laws of physics to NOT love this video… I would like to talk to that ONE person who pushed the Unlike button, and thereby defied science. Does the Gravity even bother you?

Damn ! Reminds me of cold beers, hot girls and cars, rock and roll blasting from the radio, and endless summer nights listening to Bruce. Wish I could live it all over again
