Dashboard Confessional – Mud the Dachshund

Posted by Top Songs

Mud is very lazy and has his own creative ideas. He kept trying to climb on the dash so I let him to see what he would do and he just laid down and tried to sleep. Go figure, I should’ve known that’s all he wanted. pS. i appreciate the concern, however, he normally rides in a crate, so don’t worry! :)

Believe it or not, I assumed nothing. You did. Stick it.

19 years seems like forever to a psycho like you. If you had a life expectancy under 20 years… You’d probably live a different type of life. Plus, as much as I love my doxie like a member of my own family — she’s a friggin’ dog. A dog. They can only have the life that you allow them to have. They are very intelligent and can get pretty bored when they are helicopter-parented. I’d rather be in a home that allowed some latitude to discover the joy in life. Same to you AdrienneAce.

ZZZbebe, I have three of the wonderful little dogs in my family (ages 13, 10 and 9), and I am very protective of them. I agree with emarcet. As dogs go, they usually live long lives. I have harnesses/tethers for them while they ride with me in the car so please don’t assume anything.

Just as with anything not secured, a dog will go flying around the cabin during an accident or sudden stop. It’s physics. And it’s why children are buckled into carseats.

Arguing on the internet is like being in the Special Olympics… Well, you know the rest… Enough said…

First, you are talking about a dog – not a human being. Second, the dog obviously enjoys the position. Third, he is up against the glass; a sudden stop will do little to no harm – only if something penetrated the glass, could he face any danger, however, the lamination of the glass would likely minimize the impact.

If he is sitting against the window, how will a sudden stop bring harm?

This from a person who gets their jollies off by loading up with a bunch of dumb, drunk yokels in the middle of the night to try to shoot innocent fish with a crossbow? You are obviously a very intelligent, refined person and I will take your invaluable insight to heart. I will no longer make jokes about this video seeing as that there is an overabundance of idiots out here who can not take a joke. Enjoy your awesome, “rodeo” life.

Are you that fucking bored with your life? Go jump off a cliff… This is a cute video of a cute dog, with an owner who obviously loves and cares for their dog.

Your daschund is absolutely adorable but it is not safe for him to be right there when your driving. I’m sure you will respsect that i am just concerned about his safety. If there was a wreck and someone ran into the front of your car he could be badly hurt! Please don’t do that agin.

It’s raining outside and you have your dog unsecured on a dashboard. Are you trying to kill it?

I forgot to mention that your dog looked like one of the puppies in the litter…mine is more of a multi color daple but he has blue eyes as well, and the long hair on his ears and tail.
