i dont think its all that crazy that you could write this song in 5 minutes…the real inspiration is not in technical difficulty, but in slightly modifying a single chord in a melodious way. Dm is used for 80% of the song, and the only part in the verses that changes is the low note being played. The other chords are Gm and Am, played with the exact same style. Oftentimes a song can be beautiful in its simplicity…this is a perfect example.

I think some people are that talented. If you do not like something or only have something negative to say, why bother saying it. I heard the interview myself, he had the basis of the song in his head and he put it all together in 5 minutes, why does someone with his talent and money have to lie about something like that.

The Foos are so cool! I love and miss ‘em… I REALLY hope they will do a comeback sometime. In my oponion, none of the bands that the Foo members have joined now (like Dave Grohl – Them Crooced Vulters) are half as great as Foo Fighters.
