Has Kanye West changed for the better or the worse?
I’m a big Kanye West fan and i have all of his albums. I’m planning on buying his new album “808s and Heartbreak” when it comes out. However i have noticed a huge changed in the way he makes music. He has always sung on his albums but from what i heard this new album will be all singing and no rapping. I’m cool with this but what do you think? Do you think that he is going more to the pop charts or is it still soulful? Please no stupid comments, i want some educated answers on this.

I really like Kanye west also, his song stronger way amazing and i think hes a music genius. but i also think that his new cd “808’s heartbreak” has a little different taste because of all the things that have happend to him in the past year. like his mother dying and his relationships. mabye thats why hes singing and not rapping. mabye thats why its a little different this time.

I personally dont think he’s changing for the “worse” or the “better”, I think he’s just changing because he can!!! Because no one is willing to be as diverse as him! When you are as good as Kanye you can afford to switch it up and adventure! I got the album and everyone wouldn’t love it but because I know it’s been a CRAZY year for Kanye you can feel that in the tracks which makes it AMAZING! He range, eyes can’t see!!! Therefore I say he’s changing for the better because he know’s he can’t be touched! He aint switching it up for good…he evolving!

This is an experimental album by Kanye, its not like all his future albums are going to be singing w/ auto-tune and no rapping…he knows hes an amazing MC but he wanted to try something new. None of the other big artists would have taken a risk like this, Kanye wants to keep pushing the boundaries of music. He will definitely rap more in the future don’t worry about that, he himself doesn’t even consider this cd hip-hop. He said he created a new genre and is calling it “pop art”…I know we’ll see more of things in the future that made us fall in love with West’s music since the beginning, but at the same time he wants to keep the creativity fresh you know what I mean?
