How could Obama know all about what Kanye West did on TV, yet have no idea 70k protesters were marching in DC?
Obama knew enough about Kanye West to call him a “Jack***”, yet he was apparently clueless to the tens of thousands of protesters that marched on Washington on 9.12.
Is he completely incompetent, or is he just lying?

Oh he definitely knew about the protest. That had been scheduled since at least April. But a couple of weeks ago he conveniently scheduled a trip to Minnesota to avoid the protest.

Of course he knew about the protesters, but by saying publicly that he knew about them, then he also admits that he is ignoring the voice of the American people because his ideology hasn’t been swayed. Funny how like many of the left in this generation, he is drawn to the stars and music more than history and our country.

He knew he flew over it on his way to Minneapolis to speak at a Pro-Reform rally.
He is not unaware, he is ducking and dodging as much as he can to try and push things through before the shift in Congress in 2010.

Where do you get the idea that the President was unaware of the thousands of fascists who descended on Washington last week? 70K? Gee, at least that’s down from the 2 million figure you people were claiming, and it’s still probably double the actual number.
BTW, did you listen to the President’s speech in Minnesota about health care, or are you completely unconcerned with the facts?

Reports are that there were lots more than 70,000 people at the protest. As far as obama, he knew, he just didn’t want to deal with it so he went out of town for the day.

He was actually doing an interview and informed of the Kanye West ordeal and what he said was off the record.
And of course he knows about the protesters….People seem to forget that the President gets to choose what he tells us he does or doesn’t know is going on, not only is it for his own privacy, our safety and sometimes it’s just not worth giving a comment on…

Everyone interviewed by the media had a different answer, and some made absolutely no sense at all.
