There is an artist in the u.k called Goldie, he cannot even read music but instead uses his natural feel for the music. when composing a tune he draws a diagram on like a film strip…intro….bass..rollout…drop..and wind up.
then using programs like qbase he puts it all together.

He’s a rapper…he doesn’t need to know anything about music theory, because what he makes and produces isn’t music.

my dad doesn’t know music theory but when he plays around with beats he can make really good songs. people who are learned tell him he has a natural talent. so its possible for people to be born with it.
