How many bands have been influenced by Kurt Cobain or Nirvana?
I have a friend who hates Nirvana, and especially Kurt Cobain. Personally I think he is an idiot, but he also says they have never influenced any other decent bands. I know he i wrong but who are some other bands who have been influenced by Kurt Cobain or Nirvana?

I know blink 182 is because they have a song that says “i took my time, i hurried up, choice was mine…” which is like Nirvana’s Come As You Are “take your time, hurry up, choice is yours…” Also look at their picture-a smiley face with “x” eyes. thats all i know

A LOT of new bands have been influences by Cobain, they either steal lines for their lyrics or talk about him, etc…he’s such a legend.
Here’s some examples of sucessful new bands who have mentioned being influenced by Nirvana is some way.
Dream Tribes (they’re new, fronted by Fabiola Gatti. they’ve been tipped as the next big thing by the bbc)
