Here's some examples of sucessful new bands who have mentioned being influenced by Nirvana is some way. Dream Tribes (they're new, fronted by Fabiola Gatti. they've been tipped as the next big thing by the bbc) http://www.myspace.com/dreamtribes M.I.A.
