At least she’s not aping a songbook era artist down to the last intonation.? He’s just another impersonator like Connick. Honestly, the current stars in this genre need to find an original voice. Quickly.

Don’t know what you mean by a “flat voice.” Not flat in intonation. Inflection?? I don’t think so. I like her voice, and I think both voices complement nicely! What I REALLY take offence to is the mixing (and conducting) of the big band. Firm and stalwart arrangement, but no dynamics–always the same loudness. Even when no singers. Very, very poor form! Someone should have known better–the mixer, conductor, etc. Anyway, certainly NOT in keeping with this style. Sould be redone!

She’s just got such a flat voice…. the way she pronounces “dance” and “ask” are just…. messed up.
