Michael Jackson – Oxford Speech 2001 (part 2/4) w/ full text
Heal the Kids, Part 2 of 4. Beautiful and important speech by Michael Jackson to Oxford Union (Oxford University, UK) in 2001. Full text included in video. Michael was a kind and gentle person, intelligent and funny, warm and loving. And a true humanitarian. Here he pleads for us all to reconnect with our families, to forgive, to end the violence in schools and heal the hearts of the children, including our own inner child. He talks about his own childhood and the difficulties he faced in the relationship with his father. I wish everyone would listen to this. We miss you, Michael. I love you forever. This version of the audio is at the correct speed/pitch instead of the too fast Mickey Mouse-sounding one. PS This was originally uploaded under my old account. No, it’s written by Michael Jackson. Only he could write those beautiful words. Schmuley just tried to find his 5 min. of fame. Those stories of MJ’s feeling, dreams, desire, those rights of children could be only from Michael.

this speech is one of the greatest speeches I’ve heard,better than any president or prime minister have ever done.and lol when MJ said”every child should have the right to be called adorable even if they have a face that only a mother could love” funny and inspirational..good combo and this is coming from me,a 12 yr old:)

This speech makes me really question Michael’s “death.” he obviously cared greatly for kids, especially his own. Why would he hurt them by taking drugs and overdosing on them? His kids loved him and needed him and he knew that. It’s just not something he would do. And I know that his doctor is getting all the blame but I’m sure mj had some control or knowledge over the drugs he was taking. This kind of stuff really makes me wonder…

Wow! I loved his music and his modesty, but now I love MJ for his speech. He speaks the truth. I always thought I was a spoiled brat because I had all this stuff though my parents and I can’t communicate well. I cry but then I feel stupid because there’s way worse out there. My parents cry too. We never talk it out. There’s a boundary that can never be broken. My generation has always felt different too. Just look at the music. From MJ to Bieber! Style, depth, fun to SEX, mediocracy, SEX.

To see just a bit of video footage of MJ at Oxford (not the speech, though), just look for “Michael Jackson hält Rede in der Oxford”. It’s clips from German news back in 2001, but? you can see just enough to get an idea of what? it looked like

it died a natural birth.i read somewhere, that this rabbi bilked mj out of the money. huge amounts unaccounted for. he actually was included in mj’s “hate list” coz i don’t know what word to use..maybe blacklisted. and he came out with a book and tapes out of confidential conversations w/ mj done during his therapy sessions. money really is the root of all evil. and because mj has the money, he’s magnet to all these opportunists.

Everything he is saying is so true, he was on target and very profound. Heal the kids should take off like wildfire all over the world and it would truly make a difference, He just wanted so badly to give back!
