Nirvana Cafe
Album Description
Between the worlds of awake and sleep are welcoming inns and cafes where travelers can rest and acclimatize. At such places, wayfarers often connect with a wise one or simply bask in the music of the spheres before continuing on their way. Virtuoso multi-instrumentalist Karunesh serves exquisite fare at Nirvana Cafe. Melodic rhythms artfully and at times spiritedly blended with an array of flutes, strings, piano, keyboards and percussion. On guitar, guest artist Go… More >>

When I first bought Zen Breakfast I was very pleased, great music for studying, reading or just chilling out. I was so satisfied that I bought two more disks from Karunesh, those were “Joy of Life” and “Call of The Mystic”. They were great too. Actually my favorite is Joy of Life. I’ve been studying for a very demanding exam this past 6 months, the only thing that gets me studying is Karunesh…
I was so happy with my studying music that I decided to buy another disk from them, it was Nirvana Cafe… total disaster, horrible instruments kept disturbing my mind while studying. So I decided to just erase it from my playlist.
I totally recommend Karunesh, it’s the best, but not Nirvana Cafe.

“Nirvana Cafe” is a great CD of ambient electronic music for anytime listening. I recommend it for creative work, meditation, yoga, dance warm-up, healing work and environment enhancing. It would also be good for a low key party or dinner. It’s very groovy and chill, with lots of neat sounds. There isn’t really any singing on the CD, it’s all instrumental with a couple short, sparse chants. It could be described as New Age, space or star-gazing music, world music as well. It’s an interesting listen.

While I was looking through a book/music store in Sydney Australia (where I live) I spotted the Nirvana Cafe CD by Karunesh. My first thought was WOW, he’s back! Not knowing that he had produced about 10 CDs since the 4 I bought in the early 90’s. LOL. I bought it on the spot and am I glad I did. It is just as good as the ones I already have. He is such an up-beat type of musician with those lovely beats in the middle of delightful melodies. His music always has the ability to make me feel better in times of stress or troubles. Keep up the great work Karunesh and for those of you who have never heard it – give it a try – you’ll be surprised at how enchanting it is!.

Excellent music…a superb compliment to Zen Breakfast. I play both pieces repeatedly throughout the day while at work…relaxing without being intrusive on my work.
