I had heard of the Kings of Leon, sure. But I never really tried to listen to them because the name sounded far to pretentious for them to be any kind of quality band. Then one day I heard “Sex on Fire” on the radio. I struggled to listen to it for about 30 seconds and then i had to turn it off immediately. Every time the song comes on now I have to shut the radio of for fear of the horrible vocals making my head explode. If this is the groups single, the best effort that they can put forth, I would hate to see what the rest of the album looks like.
THIS BAND IS AWFUL!!! DON’T BUY THIS!! IF YOU BUY THIS, THE PRETENTIOUS MUSIC TERRORISTS WIN!!!

I love the Kings of Leon but I never received my CD. It was supposed to come via UPS I thought. But instead it got sent to the USPS ( United States Postal Service) My physical address and my mailing/billing adress are different so when I gave my physical address for UPS and it got sent to the post offoce it was deemed “undeliverable” and it got sent back. I was supposewd to get my CD in 3-5 business days and I didn’t get any word of where it was for almost 2 weeks. I did get a refund of all my money back in my account though so I was happy about that and the service people I called were friendly and helpful. So all in all it wasn’t a bad experience and I guess it was sorta my fault as well. I would recommend buying from this company they did make things right for me. I only wish I would have recieved my CD cause I do still want it….guess I’ll try again. LOL

Sounds an aweful lot like Peter Gabriel and a whole mess of stuff I’ve heard before. Nothing original or creative about this band or the millions of sheep who love them.

It’s about how something is created. Music is in trouble. And this is what you get.

Boring, boring, boring, and more boring. I love every previous album this band has put out, but this album is awful. There is not one upbeat song, and the slow downbeat songs are poorly crafted and lack any originality. I blame U2; the tour they did together clearly has had a lasting impact, as KOL now sounds like a derivative southern cover band.
If you love U2 you’ll love this album.
