Robert Trujillo and Bass Auditions for Metallica
Robert Trujillo became Metallica’s bassist on February 24, 2003 after auditioning for the band and fitting in with fellow band members James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, and Kirk Hammett. Trujillo received 1 million dollars from the band as an advance on the percentage he would earn by being in Metallica. Rob Rules!!!

Ll at like 2:40 or whenever when they are setting up, its almost like a stand off between the 3 guys and robert then it calms down when they are done ripping it rofl, awesome audition though, go Trujillo!

im so glad they chose rob, hetfield describes his playing style very precice, when he says “his fingers are pick”, all the other bassplayers stood there like statues throughout the whole audition, rob was the only one really flowing with the music m/

Rob said, that he drank alot the day before, so he wasn’t in great shape. but he still was better than any of those guys
But in my opinion Jason was better as an backround singer

metallica is the worse band on the planet, there soo old and ew….and honestly the vocals r weak brah. Nobody sings like that, that dude is def a smoker. anyways metal in general is pretty weak, like this shit is sooo cash nigga. Likeee a good escape the fate song trumps this shit anyday or alesana is wayy better the screaming is top notch this shit is just weird, and the fans r dirty and filthy, hideous, SCREAMO/EMO FTW METAL SUCKS OUT LOUD!!!
