She is kind of a guilty pleasure for me, I suppose. I mean, I never really go out of my way to listen to her, but I give her credit as a musician. She writes her own music, and can actually play a bit of guitar. She could could get a little more experimental, but I assume she’s working with the motto “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” right now.

Does anyone notice how she responds when speaking about how that experience affected her at 1:12, where her voice breaks and she looks down. To me that’s what makes Taylor so special and real.

She sings about real experiences in her life. It’s why she was the best selling artist last year over all the over produced, industry made stars that have their songs written and are just a voice and body!

Taylor is one of the few truly authentic singers at the top of the charts. There is no sound booth engineer cheating for her here, or working to make her sound bad, like at the Grammy’s.
