one of the sickest bands of all time, they just have a “real” feel.

and I agree with your comments, I think you should just let other people have their oppinions. I am in agreement with you however, the Gaslight are one fo my favourite bands, i even met them last august. I just think you should chill out a bit, you’ll live longer :) Have a lovely day, and please don’t take youtube comments to seriously, you seem to be responding to an awful lot of comments.

Nah, they performed with him because Springsteen and Joe Strummer are their two musical heroes.

thats a ludicrous comment if you appreciate all music then you would for sure at least appreciate bruce, even if you dont like him… I didnt even know this existed, I always thought they should play with him, nice to know they did

haha.. dear snatscott.. who the hell are you to criticize one performance… especially if they had hardly practiced before their performance. You hate it when he screws up? lol this man has more fans that will fight you tooth and bone, than people you will ever meet and you sincerely feel as though your comment is in the least bit warranted? His performance was so energetic and lively, his fans certainly didn’t mind some of the glitches..but I guess they don’t have the same standards as u LOL

dear LoveisintheStars, I can totally appreciate that you do not enjoy the Boss, but I sincerely believe that you must have misspoken in your statement i”his music is so generic that it lacks any sort of showmanship” He is one of the greatest storytellers of our lifetime. I’m a mere 23 years old and am AMAZED how he relates to the average Joe. You should look into the symbology and meaning of his lyrics.. and as for showmanship- he is one of the BEST live performers one will ever experience. THNX

Dear K4driver, interesting you point that out…seeing as how they were more than excited to perform with him for the fact that he is such a legend, he would bring them some recognition. Again, this is the only way that I even heard of who this band was. I think that they wanted to perform w Brucey because they foresaw the fame they would attain, but decided that after, they were going to make a name for themselves..? Odd..as they only reached a new level of hype bc of him (Brucey).

I absolutely love music and my tastes span the spectrum, but I can’t stand Bruce Springsteen. His voice gets on my nerves so much and his music is so generic that it lacks any sort of showmanship.

I love it. Old and new. An other story teller has been born.

When I was watching this on telly and I saw Bruce at the beginning, I was like…. WHAT!?
Legend.

@foxyoxyyy perhaps they wanted to have people know them for Themselves, and not because Bruce Springsteen (one of the greatest Musicians alive) played onstage with them. It is called wanting people to know who you are not who you played onstage with,.

To everybody bashing on this collaboration, Bruce met them RIGHT before Gaslight’s set and said he wanted to do a song and he KINDA knew ‘59 Sound so they brought him up. This is true music and oh too bad it’s not perfect for you but it’s perfect for anyone who appreciates what really happened.

The best part about this is that Bruce appeals to every age group on the planet who respects music for art’s sake because Bruce is the real thing..

hey, thank you for putting the bayonne bleeders link in the sidebar. great music! and, of course, this gaslight performance is wonderfully life-affirming.

Seriously could bruce not learn some of the lyrics? I love this song but it really irritates me when he screws up
