I’m kind of ashamed that people compare Paramore to Muse. I didn’t know paramore’s tunes so looked them up and I recognised all their hits from the radio. I always thought it was Avril Lavigne who sung those “catchy tunes”. I’ve been a muse fan for years so hopefully that hasn’t clouded my judgement. Please tell me that Muse are not like paramore….

Even so, Muse unwittingly outrun Paramore by a mile off, Even though I must say, I do like Paramore. But to me, Muse are possibly the best band ever formed. And will be for a very long time. :3
This is just an opinion, So don’t take it to heart, people.

I think that statement does not really apply to all countries and individuals. In the Netherlands, where I live, Muse is not as big as in other countries. I bought this album because it’s a great album. Music is about freeing the mind, not the individual. I think they are not warning us about companies and *possible brainwashing* , but moreover they are warning us/ telling us to just be ourselves and not let our minds get ‘blocked’ by others. But thats just my opinion

I get what you’re saying, but there other people that don’t buy they album, and still they think the same as muse (about fighting the NWO and that shit) like me…I identify myself with muse, they’re agaist evil world leaders, nwo and religion (atheist) , and I was like that much before I even heard about muse, cheers

@ncPsychosis…I think you missed the point…
My point was that people will like every single one of Muse’s songs (no matter what) just because they are “huge fans” of Muse. If you really look at the songs, lyrically and musically, and make a judgement for yourself as to whether its a good song, then fine by me…but when every song is awesome…that’s a flat out lie.
I was in no way guilting people out of listening to music…just wanted them to be honest with themselves about it.

Well, buying their album has nothing to do with mind control…it’s more about conformity.
and you can’t have original thought…anything you can think of has already been thought of before. “have some original thought for once”..someone has already said that before, so that comment isn’t original..ironic, no?
Anything you listen to, wear, eat, like has already been listened to, worn, eaten, or liked.
Originality is bullshit.

I love the irony surrounding this album…here we have Muse “warning” us about mind-control and how we shouldn’t get sucked into a brainwashed society, yet tons and tons of people flock to buy this album just because it’s Muse. You don’t have to like this song/album just because they say it’s good…free your minds people. have some original thought for once
