What are your thoughts and feelings on Eminem?
Eminem is both brilliant and deeply disturbed. From funny songs like Just loose it to deeply disturbing songs where he talks about raping his mother and abusing his then wife. Do you listen to his music. What are your thoughts on his music. Have you listened to his darker stuff. I also would like to know your age.

He’s annoying. But I have to admit he’s lyrics are brilliant. I prefer his darker stuff over his funny stuff.

I think his songs are really really good even though most of them are really really fukced up. I think his music is catchy and all but he really let himself go in songs like “bonnie and clyde” where he talks describes himself murdering his wife in front of his daughter. For someone who claims in songs that he loves his daugher so much that song probably wont do any good to her if she hears it. He’s obviosly a troubled/talented person who really isnt afraid to talk about anything! I personally like listening to his music, they’re catchy and i think a buncha people can relate to some of them.

Some of his songs can be really good like just recently ‘We Made You’ But he can be quite rude in his videos in the way that he feels that he needs to poke fun at other celebrities such as Jessica Simpson, MJ etc.. I don’t really listen to his darker stuff because I find them disturbing and prefer more upbeat songs anyway. I’m 15 years old =] xx

He is a lyrical genious. I love his music and his sexy self aha. Im a huge Eminem fan. Im 16 and I have liked him since I was 12, my older brother introduced me to him. His life has been rough and I dont blame him for who he is sometimes, if you know what i mean.

he may have mad fun of MJ but that dont mean that hes a bad person. hes one of my favorite artists, and after being through what ive been through in my life, and seein what hes been through, it makes me mad when people say stupid stuff. his music is awesome most of my mp3 player consists of his music.
you could say im a fan:)

Like him or hate him, I think he is brilliant at what he does too. He has the ability to polarize, captivate, irritate, sicken, and entertain all at the same time. However, he does have some issues that would be better tackled in therapy (such as his feelings towards his Mom and ex). But that is probably the main reason he is who he is. Those factors make him unique versus all the want to be peers who use regurgitated lyrics and stereotypes to churn out generic music.

I’m 50. But don’t let my age fool you. Music is a cherished love of mine and I refuse to limit myself to a single genre. But Eminem is a detriment to musical society. He drags down the positive nature of music, completely destroying the reason for music in the first place. I have listened to some of his “songs” and I agree…the man is disturbed. But the problem with that is that millions of impressionable young people have access to his negative, disturbing messages. I’d like to see him retire. Get out of the industry. He’s destroying the image and meaning of music itself and unbalancing the minds of impressionable young people. He’s a damaging effect to a strong, positive gift to society.

I think eminem is a lyricall genius. I have memorized every single one of his songs. He says what’s on his mind and he doesn’t give a fuck what people think. Not many people have the balls to do that.

I own everything on itunes that is by eminem or features eminem i have his autobiography, the way, i am and many other books about him i also have many documentaries on dvd about him i even have all of his diss tracks and other tracks most people dont know about, such as the album infinite. i think all of his songs are good, the funny, the sad, the hate full and mad. in my opinion he is the best artist ever lyrically, my opinion is strongly biased because i think he is awesome, but it is still my opinion. im 14

This is more a response to “Jackson”….What do you mean don’t let your age fool us?….trust it hasn’t, you sound like my mom….you can say the same stuff about what old people said about KISS when you were a kid…kids are like what they like, and if you listened to a whole Eminem album you would know that he just does it to piss people like you off…and obviously he has succeed in doing so….and to the origianl question…..Em is in the top 5 rappers of ALL time…..

He’s awesome! I like him as person cuz he’s funny, Look for:Eminem Where Have you Been on youtube(It’s kinda funny) or Eminem shows Jimmy Kimmel how to rap. And when he’s got a mic in his hand, buahh No words to say! I’m a fan since I was 8 and now I’m 16.
