I have no idea. It could possibly mean that when the siren goes(and all towns have one) you have approx 4 mins till detonation of a nuclear bomb. But quite frankly Madonna could write a song about going to the shops for her weekly groceries and it would make the top 10.

no they arent. jt was on ellen saying how he was saying u cant save the world in 4 minutes cuase they couldnt think of a song and it just clicked.

No it’s not about sex.
It’s about having a good enough song that will “save the world”.
Because songs are 4 minutes long( mostly) and they are saving the world one song at a time.
