Obama’s statement made me laugh, and ultimately like him 500% more. I know it’s a stupid reason to start liking him, but that’s the way the cookie crumbles. It’s nice to know that he can identify a douche bag when he sees one, and it makes me feel a little safer knowing that he cares about the way people feel, regardless of whether they sing country or hip-hop. Go Prez Obama!

I agree completely, and whoever in that room sent a ‘tweet’ with what he said should be fired because off-record comments shouldn’t be published.

I haven’t agreed with Obama on much……but he nailed it on this one.

I disagree with Obama name-calling. Yes, Kanye was wrong to do what he did, but he was emotionally on edge when he did it and wasn’t thinking straight. When he realized what he had done, he apologized to the audience, to Taylor Swift and her fans, and to the public.

But Obama? He has no right calling ANYONE a jackass. Obama has done nothing but lie to the American public and carry out the exact same agenda that Bush set in place. So when Bush pushed the so-called Patriot Act that takes civil rights away from Americans, Obama has recently announced he’s all for it. When Bush wanted to turn all the Treasury money over to the Wall Street Banks and the Big Oil Companies, Obama just rubber stamped that plan. And although Obama pledged to end the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan within 5 months of his presidency, he obviously also lied about that. And now, thanks to Obama’s leadership, even more troops are getting killed than ever, and more of them are being committed to be shipped overseas to fight in those countries. Jackazz is too gentle a word to be used to describe what Obama is really all about. Change you can believe in? My azzz.

ummm, lets see. joe wilson is disrespectful and interrupts president obama as he addresses the nation regarding one the most highly debated issues our nation faces at the moment, apologizes immediately afterwords, yet openly admits that hes only doing so due to pressure from his own party. president obama accepts the apology of wilson and says that everyone makes mistakes, yet calls a clearly drunken kanye a jackass for being disrespectful and interrupting taylor swift at the vmas? personally i think its bullshit. im not excusing what kanye did by any means. but for the president to be more forgiving towards a jackass that basically flicked him off in front of the whole nation….hmmmmm

and then to release a statement saying that you dont think racism has anything to do with the lack of respect you have received publicly, but when backed into a corner, you gave what was probably the most profound speech regarding race relations here in america? oh, and lets not forget the spectacle that occurred with the professor and the cop. you quickly apologized to the police department and justified it by saying it was inappropriate to respond without knowing all the facts and then had these fools over for beers?…….

strikes me as though obama has mastered the art of fence straddling and is “down with the cause” when its convenient, and fair, understanding, forgiving, and bi-partisan to a fault. im interested in seeing what happens in 2012….
